The acclaimed UK production of Annie – one of the best-loved musicals of all time - will play in Wellington this May.
The show will feature a host of familiar faces from British TV and stage, and will propel local talent into the spotlight in the lead role of Annie as well as her fellow orphans. Leading the stellar cast is the UK’s hilarious star of stage and screen, Su Pollard, and David McAlister, a veteran of the West End stage and TV dramas.
One Night of Queen, performed by Gary Mullen and The Works is a spectacular live concert, recreating the look, sound, pomp and showmanship of arguably the greatest rock band of all time.
When it comes to resurrecting the spirit of the late, great Freddie Mercury, no one comes closer than Gary Mullen. The winner of the UK version of Stars in Their Eyes in 2000 -- with more than 800,000 votes, the largest in the show’s history – Mullen is the exception to the saying `accept no imitations’.
Since winning Stars in Their Eyes Mullen has toured the world with his breathtaking One Night of Queen. His uncanny vocal resemblance to Freddie Mercury has enthralled people throughout the UK, USA, Europe, South Africa and New Zealand.
