The Ten Tenors Double Platinum Tour
The Double Platinum world tour and anniversary album are poised to showcase the talent of the group in a way no other artist can match. Musical Director Graham Foote enthused "We're throwing down the gauntlet with this show. It'll be louder, bolder, bigger and better than ever before."
This show will see audiences left breathless at the vocal prowess of the Ten Tenors, from the tender moments of Leonard Cohen’s Hallelujah, to the sheer power of the stadium rock ballad, Aerosmith’s number one hit Don’t want to miss a thing. Not to mention Puccini’s evergreen classic Nessun Dorma and the show closer Hey Jude – it is guaranteed to leave you screaming for more, with that famous chorus echoing in your memory for weeks after.
See the brand new show Double Platinum at the St James Theatre this July.
With a unique blend of high-octane arias and kick-driven rock classics, punctuated by moments of divine tenderness, The Ten Tenors deliver in a way unlike any other vocal group in the world.
When these ten ruggedly handsome Australian men take to the stage en masse, their voices will excite and electrify the audience with a contrast of raw power and soothing beauty.
This show will culturally enrich and uplift you. More importantly, you’ll leave having rocked like you haven’t rocked in years!

SOAP - Bath time will never be the same again
Bath time will never be the same again! Stunning acrobatics and water antics abound in this refreshingly fun, exciting and sexy show…"physically breathtaking" says Time Out London.
Dazzling, daring and dangerous, eight acrobats will perform in, on and around a series of bathtubs in the New Zealand premiere of the all ages variety show Soap. Fresh from Edinburgh via London, Berlin and Sydney Opera House, this splashing spectacle has captured the hearts of half a million people worldwide. Directed by Markus Pabst (Caesar Twins, La Clique) and Maximilian Rambaek (VibeZ), Soap’s highly charged fusion of new circus, comedy and cabaret set in the confines of a bathroom will steam up and splash Wellington audiences for a limited season this July and August.
After two years at the Chamäleon Theater in Berlin and London’s Riverside Studios, Soap played to packed houses at the 2010 Edinburgh Fringe Festival and Sydney Opera House earlier this year. With a pumping soundtrack of pop, blues and rock, the delicious cast of characters take turns to perform a stunning series of water-soaked acts to an eclectic soundtrack that includes the music of Mika, Sia, Tool, Gnarls Barkley and Goldfrapp. There’s also Soap’s very own gorgeous diva, Lithuanian opera singer Lina Navakaite. From contortion and straps to trapeze and aerial silk, the show includes moments of divine beauty – a captivating gymnastic performance on a bath ledge – to a humorous love story between two feet. A truly “cleansing” theatrical experience, Soap demonstrates the beauty and strength of the human form. Fans of Cirque du Soleil, Cirque Eloize, 7 Fingers and Slava’s Snow Show will love this show. If you only see one show this year, make sure it’s ‘Soap’.

Dylan Moran "Yeah, Yeah" - UK Stand Up Comedian
Dylan Moran, star of ‘Black Books’, ‘Shaun of the Dead’ and ‘Run Fat Boy Run’, is about to spread a little happiness when he returns to New Zealand with a brand new tour for 2011. See Dylan Moran in Wellington for one night only on Tuesday 23 August at the Michael Fowler Centre.
Ageing, religion, kids and relationships intertwine with the general absurdities of life in Dylan's new show Yeah, Yeah. Searing observations and sumptuous imagery, painted across a large fraying canvas with cruel, curmudgeonly 'Moranesque' brush strokes and all delivered with Dylan's renowned, shambolic charm… it's simply unmissable.
This will be Dylan’s fourth New Zealand tour – the previous three were totally sold out shows, so it is advised to book early.
Moran's legendary stand up rants have sold out across the world, cementing this unkempt wordsmith's reputation as one of the foremost comics of his generation.
Likened to Dave Allen and labelled 'The Oscar Wilde of comedy' Dylan is unpredictable, bizarre, elegiac, often cruel but above all painfully funny. Moran sees through the joys and disappointments of human existence with the sensibility and intense perception of a man teetering on the edge. He chews life up and coughs it out...
Known for his absurd observation and unique brand of dry humour, Moran is a master of comedy, combining his talents as an actor, writer and performer to incredible effect.
